2.3 Signal Conditioner

The GPS Retransmission System (RS) Signal Conditioner (SC) is the primary LRU of the GPS Retransmission

System. The Signal Conditioner receives the L1 and L2 GPS signals from the 2.6” “Active Antenna usually

placed on the flight deck. The SC then amplifies the GPS signals and distributes them to the retransmission

system antennas located throughout the aircraft cargo compartment and crew rest area. The Signal

Conditioner is shown in the figure 2 below:
